Clear terms. No fine-print games.
The terms for Cross Court’s call, texts, and introductions.
Eligibility
Using Cross Court means you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. You must be 18 or older, give accurate information, and use the service only for lawful personal tennis matchmaking.
How it works
One AI-assisted call and a continuing text conversation build your tennis profile, which may include clearly labeled AI-inferred fields. You review and correct it before joining the matching pool. A suggestion is not a guarantee of compatibility, availability, identity, conduct, skill, or safety. First name, mobile number, and city are shared between two players only after both accept that proposal, and a later pass cannot undo it.
Calls and texts
Pressing Call me, beside the posted consent disclosure, authorizes Cross Court to place one AI-assisted onboarding call, record and transcribe it, send your profile by text, and continue by SMS. It also authorizes a private encrypted recovery copy of the recording and raw transcript, which we delete 24 hours after successful profile delivery and no later than seven days after the call. You may withdraw before the call by closing onboarding, or request deletion afterward.
Because onboarding continues by text, that consent is required to finish it. Texts cover onboarding, profile review, matchmaking updates, and introductions. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You confirm you are the subscriber or customary user of the number you enroll.
Reply STOP to opt out at any time, START to opt back in, HELP for help, or email will@willweinbach.com. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Conduct and safety
You are responsible for your own interactions, court arrangements, payments, travel, and safety. Treat other players with respect. Do not harass, impersonate, discriminate, threaten, solicit, misuse contact details, or promote a business. Meet in public places and use your judgment.
Availability
Cross Court is an evolving pilot. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, decline or withdraw a match, or remove access where reasonably necessary for safety, compliance, or misuse. A match is never promised.
Ownership
Cross Court’s software, branding, and design are protected by law. You keep ownership of what you provide and allow us to process it only to operate, secure, and improve the service as described in our Privacy Policy.
Disclaimers and liability
Cross Court is provided “as is” and “as available” to the fullest extent permitted by law. We disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cross Court and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for the acts of other players.
Governing law and contact
Connecticut law governs these terms, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Questions go to will@willweinbach.com.
